I’m Max.
I’m a frontend developer who enjoys turning complex problems into fast, reliable, and thoughtfully designed products for the web.
Over the past few years I’ve worked across the full frontend development lifecycle and picked up a habit of translating it for everyone standing outside of it.

What I work on
- 01
Product front-ends
React, Next.js, and Astro applications built to stay fast and reliable as they grow.
- 02
Component systems
Reusable pieces that keep a product consistent and keep teams moving.
- 03
Headless CMS
Content platforms wired in so editors can ship without waiting on a developer.
- 04
Testing & accessibility
Coverage and a11y work that makes releases uneventful, the good kind of boring.
- 05
CI/CD & deployment
Supporting the pipelines and workflows that carry work from branch to production.
- 06
Mentoring
Onboarding new developers and helping teams adopt new tools and workflows.
How I got here
- Started
C#/.NET and ServiceNow
Backend and platform work — where I learned how systems fit together before I ever styled a button.
- Pivoted
Moved into frontend
Traded the backend for the browser and started as an associate developer.
- Now
Frontend Developer 1
Working alongside architects, technical delivery teams, and developers across different organizations.
Acting as a bridge between people, ideas, and technology — and bringing those groups toward a shared solution — has been the most meaningful impact I’ve had in my career.
I like understanding the underlying technical problem and then putting it in language that makes sense to stakeholders, product teams, and other non-technical partners.
Away from the office
Small SaaS ideas and personal projects, usually chasing a problem I think deserves a better answer.
Longtime gamer, and formerly a regionally ranked Super Smash Bros. Melee player.
Soccer, the gym, and running. Whatever gets me away from a keyboard.
